PRIMEPAK
Master multiplication facts and divisibility rules while having
fun!
PRIMEPAK®, the card game that teaches
math, is four games in one. Players learn the principles of multiplication
easily and painlessly with a unique deck of 171 cards. In each game, players
form sets of factors and their products. For example, since 2 x 3 = 6,
a player may meld cards 2, 3, and 6, and since 2 x 4 x 5 = 40, a player
may meld cards 40, 2, 4, and 5.
PRIMEPAK® even includes wild cards that can stand for prime numbers. In the
latter example above, a player may substitute a prime wild card for the 2 or the
5 and be on her way to recognizing the prime numbers from 2 through 19.
At higher levels of play, students go beyond multiplication and division to
learn factoring and divisibility rules. Grades 4 to 12.
Available in opaque cards for one to six players or in transparent cards for
use with an overhead projector.
(Transparent deck lets the teacher play PRIMEPAK® with an entire class at
once.)

The Algebra Game
Thinking Math Games
The
Algebra Game offers 4 different versions to help children master the
different concepts of algebra through cooperative learning.
The
Algebra Game: Linear Graphs
Students can make sense of linear
equations by matching slope and "Y" intercept cards. They
will quickly grasp the interconnectedness between cards and how
all of the distinct parts of these equations fit together. Pack
includes 5 decks and teacher's manual
Price: $92.50 per pack |
|
The
Algebra Game: Conic Equations
By using all Conic Section decks
together, students become proficient at recognizing conic equations
characteristics for circles, parabolas, ellipse and hyperbolas.
When each deck is used separately, Algebra game participants can
study equation and graph characteristics, including foci, eccentricity
and standard notation, in greater depth. Pack includes 5 decks and
teacher's manual.
Price: $92.50 per pack
|
|
The Algebra
Game: Quadratic Equations
The quadratic formula is demystified
as students piece together the various parts of the quadratic equations.
These parts: vertex, axis of symmetry, discriminant and quadratic
formula, are separted into different decks. The goal for students
is to match these cards along with factor and root cards, to appropriate
quadratic equations. Pack includes 8 decks and teacher's manual.
Price: $136.00 per pack
|
|
The Algebra
Game: Trigonometry Functions
All three "trig" functions:
sine, cosine and tangent, and their reciprocals are covered in the
cards that support this topic. Clues about a graph's amplitude and
period are imbedded in equations so students learn the effect of
an equation on a related graph. Pack includes 4 decks and teacher's
manual.
Price: $78.00 per pack
